There is a broken camera on my desk. If I am there, it sends only a rough field of pixels here. No image survives the trip.
If I am gone, you get a recording. It is not always obvious which one you are seeing.

Artist
Juha Lilja (APN201) is a Finnish artist and IT security director. For more than twenty years he has worked in industrial information security, deciding who is allowed to access what. Alongside that he has kept a separate practice in moving image, generative code, and hardware. His best-known work is Sleep (2013), an eight-hour durational film of the artist sleeping, screened at IFFR Rotterdam and later circulated far beyond its intended audience. His other work includes generative vector renderings of museum paintings and physical electronics built around Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and ESP32. His work appears in Anozero'26 Bienal de Coimbra. For most of his career the two sides, the security director and the artist, were kept deliberately apart. Recently he stopped separating them. Station 202 is what the seam looks like.

Variable. Responsive, full-viewport in any modern browser. Continuous and indefinite in duration, generatively scheduled, never the same sequence twice.
